The National Association for Music Education (NAfME) is a collaborative community supporting music educators and advocating equitable access to music education. This collegiate chapter provides opportunities for members to participate in activities, projects, and conferences that will prepare members for a successful, fulfilling career in music education. Our NAfME-Collegiate Chapter attends the Kansas Music Educators Association In-Service Workshop each year. This is a three-day professional conference held in Wichita, Kansas, with music educators across the state. This conference represents a significant opportunity for our members to engage with leading music educators, participate in workshops, and gain insights that are essential for their professional growth and development in music education. Attending this conference will allow our students to: 1.) Enhance their Knowledge: Participate in sessions led by experts and gain cutting-edge knowledge in music education. 2.) Network with Professionals: Connect with fellow educators and professionals, fostering relationships that can lead to future collaborations and career opportunities. 3.) Gain Practical Skills: Learn new techniques and strategies to bring back to our local community, enriching our music programs and providing greater value to our students. To ensure that our members can fully benefit from this opportunity, we seek to raise $5,000 to cover expenses, including registration fees, travel, and accommodations for all of our members. Some members could not attend in past years due to financial barriers. Your generous contribution will directly support our students and help make this educational experience possible. Any amount you can contribute will be greatly appreciated. Your support will play a crucial role in helping our chapter members grow as future music educators and leaders.
