Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising many small donations from a large number of people, typically via digital channels.

What is I Fed the Tiger?

I Fed the Tiger is Fort Hays State University's crowdfunding site, and it aids faculty, staff, and student organizations in soliciting gifts to support university programs and/or initiatives.

Is my project/initiative a good fit for crowdfunding?

Projects or initiatives that are seeking funding must benefit the Fort Hays State community, faculty, staff, or students. The funds raised cannot benefit or be designated to one specific person, rather it benefits a student organization, university program, or department. All funds must be transferred to a university account.

Are gifts tax deductible?

Yes, and you will receive a gift receipt via email for tax purposes.
